Bringing Para-sport to the Highest Level
CAP SUR L’OR aims to raise additional financial resources to elevate Francophone para-sport to the highest level: the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympics and major international para-sport competitions (24 Hours of Le Mans, Golf Open, etc.).
Current structural funding provided for para-sport is insufficient to fully cover all the disciplines where talents exist. That is why CAP 48 has teamed up with SMS, the comercial agency exclusively dedicated to sports created by Zelos (an expert operator in high-level sports led by Freddy Tacheny) and RMB, the advertising agency of RTBF.
The goal is to provide, with private partners and through co-financing, additional financial resources to high-level para-athletes in the following disciplines: tennis, equestrian sports, swimming, cycling, rowing, motorsports, and golf. Except for motorsports, the athletes benefiting from the CAP SUR L’OR project train within the clubs and structures of the Ligue Handisport Francophone.
The program also aims to promote para-sport more widely and raise public awareness of the performances of these extraordinary athletes.
Finally, the ambition is to make high-level para-athletes a reference and a source of inspiration for many people with disabilities, highlighting the benefits of participating in sports.
