Coaches of the Zelos Black Knights Riders

Xavier Siméon

A Zelos Black Knights rider at the highest level for many years, Xavier Siméon retired at the end of 2022 but continues to be involved in motorcycle sports. The former MotoGP rider, now 35 years old, has been appointed Motorcycle Manager at Zelos. He puts his experience and expertise to work for young Belgian talents, both those competing today in the world championship and those who will take up the mantle in the future.

Xavier Siméon will mentor Barry Baltus (Moto2) in his career. He will also take on a coaching role with the ASBL Belgian Motorcycle Academy (BMA). Additionally, he participates in the development of the Supermoto section, which aims to replicate the successful model established in Road Racing to become a pioneer in Belgium: creating a pathway, identifying, training, and promoting young up-and-coming riders. This will all be done in close collaboration with the Circuit Jules Tacheny in Mettet, co-founded with MIG/Zelos, the Fédération Motocycliste Wallonne de Belgique (FMWB), and the Belgian Motorcycle Fund (BMF).

Eric Lambert

Eric, as the physical trainer for the Zelos Black Knights riders, plays a crucial role in the development of our athletes. He oversees both the physical and mental training of our riders, understanding that in this sport, victory is determined as much by the mind as by the body.

Previously, Eric served as a physical trainer for the Spirou de Charleroi, where he gained valuable experience in optimizing the performance of high-level athletes.
